Le Témoin

A wedding speech brings secrets to light. But this time, for the eagerly anticipated speech, Thomas hasn't written anything. It's all inside him. Everything is ready to burst out. From the secondary school where he met Vincent to their first nights in a nightclub, from their baccalaureate to holidays in Greece, Thomas remembers everything. He, the son of a factory worker. Vincent, from a privileged background. Everything seemed to oppose them, and yet, the years bound them together. But beneath the memories, a buried event surfaces. Little by little, the speech takes a turn. The comedy cracks, the words slip, and a truth emerges. A chilling truth, long silenced, of which Thomas was the witness. Alone on stage, facing both the guests and the audience, he transforms this moment into a space of revelation. What was meant to be a celebration becomes a pivotal instant. "Le Témoin" questions memory, silence, and responsibility. What do we do with what we have seen? At what point do we become complicit by remaining silent? Between humour, tension, and emotion, the show draws the spectator into a direct experience, where everyone is led to listen, feel… and take a stand.
