“Le Petit Prince” by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry is undeniably one of the essential works dedicated to childhood. Its multi-level reading, even for adults, still makes it an initiatory tale of rare quality today. This odyssey will be visualised by the audience thanks to an oversized puppet theatre, in which the actors will also evolve. The puppets will be full-fledged protagonists of the show, but the aviator at the beginning of the show will transform live to become the central hero of this story by entering the puppet theatre and playing sometimes with puppets, sometimes with the puppeteer/actress who will interpret the other characters. In order to engage young audiences in this adventure, Saint-Exupéry's original text has been reduced so that the show lasts less than an hour. This adaptation aims to highlight the transmission of the fundamental values proposed by the author. It's time for children to discover this unclassifiable masterpiece, for older ones to dive back into it with sweet nostalgia, and, of course, to read or re-read in parallel the gem that Antoine de Saint-Exupéry has given us.
