Overview
Composed between 1875 and 1876 by Tchaïkovski, this symbol of romantic ballet has not aged a day. The Sofia City Ballet brings all its elegance and precision to it. It is the most performed work in the history of dance.
And yet, each interpretation gives a particular colour and resonance to the cursed love story between Prince Siegfried and the beautiful Odette, victim of a curse that condemns her, day after day, to transform into a swan.
In the grand tradition of the Russian dance school, the company opts for a demanding version, served by spectacular scenography.
From the virtuoso international soloists to the haunting score and the enchanting costumes of the performers, this adaptation for all audiences offers a show that is as enchanting as it is technically masterful. Great art! A timeless masterpiece to see again and again!
