Presented by Arts Live Entertainment, “La Jalousie”, Sacha GUITRY’s legendary play, brought to life by Michel FAU’s elegant staging and flamboyant costumes and sets, pays tribute to this iconic figure of French theatre.

A respectable civil servant returns home, having just cheated on his wife, and searches for every possible excuse to explain his lateness... It is then that he realises his wife herself has not yet returned!

Caught in his own trap, he is then overwhelmed by an uncontrolled fit of jealousy, dragging him into a dazzling and ludicrous obsessive delirium.

This deliciously cruel text explores with panache, in the tradition of boulevard theatre, the torments of self-esteem and the mechanisms of jealousy...

Between finely crafted dialogues, burlesque paranoia, and jubilant twists, Michel FAU offers us a colourful vaudeville, a satire as funny as it is biting!
