The Théâtre Juliette Récamier inaugurates a new cycle, “Textes en scène” (Texts on Stage), dedicated to major works of literature and thought. Adapted from Marc Bloch's seminal text, L’Étrange Défaite will be performed by Xavier Gallais, under the direction of Gilbert Désveaux.
First presented at the Panthéon when Marc Bloch entered this national place of memory, this reading extends a unique encounter between history, literature, and live theatre.
