Overview
Author, composer, and performer, H-Burns has been treading the boards for nearly 20 years, guitar in hand. His voice became known through folk-rock music, influenced by Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen.
With Burns on the Wire, he pays tribute to Leonard Cohen with a selection of essential tracks that made his early albums successful. He is accompanied by his multi-instrumentalist friend and arranger Antoine Pinet.
For strings and vocals, he will be surrounded by the virtuoso women of the Stranger Quartet. Their clear, melodious, and penetrating voices will blend with precision.
Far from distorting the original works, this delightful blend adds just the right amount of body, power, and melancholy to the Canadian poet's compositions, drawn from the heart of great records.
