LA NUIT DU JAZZ A NANTES FETE LE POP IN JAZZ! This is the exceptional evening par excellence, blending the prestige of a gala night with the conviviality of a jazz club.
Comprising a two-part concert, the evening continues – for those who wish – with an Open Jazz Club (a large Jam Session), transformed for the occasion into a jazz club.
The programme for this exceptional concert, celebrating the festival's 26th anniversary, features explosive jazz with the Côte Ouest Big Band directed by Jean-Philippe Vidal and its international guests: singers Jessica Flores, Elisa Palazzi, Veronika Rodriguez, and singers Malik Hemaidi and Kevin Double.
THE COTE OUEST BIG BAND Dressed in tuxedos and black bow ties, with slicked-back hair and a carnation in their buttonhole, the 17 musicians of Jean-Philippe Vidal's Côte Ouest Big Band roll out the red carpet for great jazz voices and musicians. Barry White… Isaac Hayes...
