Festival International Toulouse Les Orgues

For three decades, the Festival international Toulouse les Orgues has been celebrating a rich, varied, and precious heritage, making it shine throughout France and attracting organists from all over the world with its exceptional collection of instruments. The Festival transforms Toulouse into the centre of the organ world for around ten days!

The Festival invents and reinvents itself: uniting enthusiasts while gaining new audiences, creating bridges between the multi-century repertoire of an apparently fixed, almost sanctified instrument, and contemporary, even experimental music. The organ is undeniably an instrument for sound experimentation, a synthesiser ahead of its time, and a transmitter of emotions.

A twelve-day journey through classical, baroque, symphonic, Occitan, meditative, and modern aesthetics and elegances, bringing together organists with other musicians, and combining several stars, as well as artists with a promising future. A programme imagined and hand-stitched down to the smallest detail and with one objective: to make the magnificent vaults housing the organs vibrate in October, as much as the hearts of the festival-goers!
