Overview
As it has every year since its creation, La Scala Paris pays tribute to contemporary music. The ninth edition of its festival Aux Armes, Contemporains! will take place from October 2 to 5, 2026, at La Scala Paris.
Over three days, artists from the Scala Music label and France Musique will take over La Scala to champion recent works alongside major repertoire pieces.
Discover a sonata for 8 hands, a Parisian premiere by Olivier Penard, an unprecedented version of Varèse's Amériques for two pianos and 4 pianists, A summer evening by Peteris Vasks, as well as an evening entirely dedicated to new creations, Action! Création!
in partnership with France Musique. Also in preview, artists from the Scala Music label will present their latest albums: Un tombeau de Ravel by Gabriel Durliat, a final Schubert sonata by John Gade, and the reveries from Jodyline Gallavardin's upcoming EP.
