"Dans Vieille il y a Vie" : lecture théâtrale et atelier | Semaine Bleue

Theatrical reading by the EXZEB company followed by a sharing workshop based on the stage adaptation of Delphine Panique's comic book Vieille. An unfiltered and unsentimental event, just like the work itself: it talks about aging, remembering, and transmitting, with humour as much as with accuracy.

Vieille, the comic book by Delphine Panique (Éditions Misma, 2025), paints the portrait of an elderly woman whom society no longer sees.

Grumpy, solitary, unfiltered — anything but the “nice old lady” expected of her — she blends irreverence, biting humour, and poetry to talk about what we prefer to keep silent: the invisibilisation of older people, the effacement of women past a certain age, failing memory, the approaching end of life, and the tender or complicated links between generations.

The EXZEB company is working on its theatrical adaptation.

They come to the media library to read some excerpts, before giving way to a writing and sharing workshop, led by Christophe Boutellier, director of the adaptation: a time to retrace a significant place in one's life, around memory and transmission — to write a few words or fragments of memories, and to share them, if desired, with the group.
