Come and (re)discover the 2026 programme of the Chœur de Meudon, combining the richness of choral parts with the power and colours of two organs:

On the programme:

▪ Surprise works for Organ performed by Véra Nikitine and Gabriel Bestion de Camboulas,

▪ Phronesis and Poems, by Véra Nikitine, for double choir and two organs, composed in 2025 for the Chœur de Meudon based on texts by Marcus Aurelius, William Blake and Walt Whitman. This work alternates passages with rhythms inspired by popular music, others intense and stormy, a core of the work imbued with sweetness and tenderness, a conclusion full of appeasement and serenity, all in a profoundly original yet always accessible style.

▪ To conclude, the Mass for double choir and two organs by Charles-Marie Widor, composed in 1878 to brilliantly celebrate the great moments of the liturgy. According to a critic of the time, it “contains the strength of Bach and Handel, combined with the penetrating grace of Mendelssohn”.

These works will be performed by the 80 choristers of the Chœur de Meudon and the 8 singers of the vocal ensemble “Les Gars Sons” under the direction of Adam Vidovic. The grand organ will be played by Véra Nikitine herself. Come and vibrate with us and share this unique moment
