Overview
In toxic relationships, you're not always who you think you are. Cécile tries not to be blinded by her own jerkiness, which constantly whispers to her that if life is difficult, it's because of others.
She yearns to be loved but doesn't know how to go about it, because her inner jerk is ruining her love life. She tries different things: becoming a plant, flirting differently, or rummaging through bins to find the man of her life. Desire, ego, and struggle.
This is Cécile Laforest's "love, glory and beauty". She offers us a flirtation with the absurd, in an intimate, contemporary, and sometimes trashily poetic stand-up.
