Blues Roots Festival : Errol LINTON et Larry McCRAY

The Blues Roots Festival welcomes Errol Linton and Larry McCray for an evening dedicated to the roots of blues, folk, and country, promising an authentic exploration of these musical genres.

Errol Linton, originally from Brixton, London, is a unique figure on the British blues scene. A harmonica player and singer, he has forged a unique musical identity, blending bayou blues, reggae, and touches of dub. His discography includes acclaimed albums such as « Mama Said  » and « 100% Man  », where he displays an expressive vocal style and instrumental mastery that have earned him comparisons to blues legends.

Larry McCray, a guitarist and singer from Michigan, embodies a powerful blues rock rooted in tradition. Influenced by Albert King and B.B. King, he has developed a personal sound, recognisable by his incisive guitar playing and gravelly voice. Albums such as « Ambition  » and « Blues Is My Business  » demonstrate his ability to fuse classic blues with more contemporary sounds, delivering energetic and passionate live performances.
