Revealed in 2010 with a luminous and immediately recognisable soul sound, the artist from Tours established himself as one of the major voices of the French soul/funk scene, embarking on tours, prestigious collaborations, and ambitious projects, from the Zénith de Paris to inspired reinterpretations of Sinatra.

Over the years, Ben l'Oncle Soul has expanded his musical universe by exploring new textures, blending soul, reggae, funk, and contemporary influences.

With his label Enchanté, created to regain control of his artistic direction, he asserts a creative independence that marks a decisive turning point in his career.

This freedom has fuelled a series of acclaimed projects, including Red Mango (2022), with its Jamaican accents, and Is It You? (2023), conceived with a live dynamic, as close as possible to the energy of the stage.

Today, the artist continues this evolution with his new album Sad Generation, the result of collaborative production work with multi-instrumentalists. In it, he develops a rawer sound, focused on groove, beatmaking, and increasingly personal songwriting.

This new chapter confirms an artist in full command of his art, capable of reinventing himself without losing the soul essence that is his signature. Ben l'Oncle Soul comes to La Luciole for an evening under the sign of modern soul, groove, and live emotion.
