Ballets Jazz Montréal returns with a creation by Jo Strømgren, master of contrasts and tender ruptures. In this fragmented fresco, thirteen performers traverse the shadow of life's end to celebrate the light of the encounters that shape us.

On stage, a community weaves, unravels, and reunites. Under the gaze of a sensitive ghost, gestures become suspended memories, impulses that speak of love, friendship, loss, and those silences that say everything.

In both voice and body, everything wavers, everything vibrates: celebration embraces melancholy, nostalgia flirts with the urgency of living, goodbyes are thunderous with renewal. The scenes unfold to music steeped in symbols, like so many heartbeats: intimate, fiery, dizzying.
