It is also a portrait of a woman, both strong and fragile, up to her final evening at the local Café. A tribute to these small places of conversation and listening, to those who keep them open, to their diversity, their freedom, their humanity.
Author of some twenty books on cafés, Pierrick Bourgault filmed this feature-length movie in immersion for three years, “with love and a pocket camera”, meaning on a zero budget and with a perfect carbon footprint!
